Adobe Photoshop CS 2

Adobe Photoshop training has finally arrived at Intoweb, now graphic design and photo editing has become so easy.

There are vast new features like the next generation file browser Adobe Bridge, Vanishing Points, non-destructive Image Transformations(smart objects), Image Warp and 3 new filters for common photographic problems. This might sound confusing at first but I will explain it all a little later on.
It is important to cover some of the basics and become familiar with the Photoshop interface. Even when you think you know all the basics there are always things we overlook by saying 'I am never going to use that' because we assume by the name of the tool that it seems worthless to us. When you have a look at the work area there are many different types of tools. This makes Photoshop appear similar to most other products but, what you don't see, is all the hidden tools and all the hidden functionalities for these tools which make image editing or graphic design a whole lot less complex.
In order to work with a picture or the different parts of a picture, you must be able to select the part of the picture that you want to edit. For instance, coloring a black and white picture or coloring just a part thereof can be done by selecting the part of the image you want to edit, and adding color to that part only. What makes Photoshop so easy to use is all the different sub functions that you can learn about which helps you select the exact thing you want to edit and thus streamlining the editing process.
The acclaimed Photoshop file browser, Adobe Bridge, has evolved into its own application that runs fully independently, thus allowing you to multi task between organizing, editing and processing your images by adding Scalable Thumbnails, Enhanced Ranking and Labeling, and a Slide Show Mode for a quick review of your latest shoot. The Bridge also integrates with Illustrator and InDesign and all the other applications in the creative suite.

Vanishing Points – You can use this tool to match perspectives, like for example, say you have a family portrait outside on your lovely wooden deck by your beach house but lying around it is the clutter that every family deals with. Well, now Photoshop allows you to remove this clutter very easily and it fixes the flat surface that it was on.
Destructive and non destructive transformations, also known as Smart Object, now allow you to transform images without loosing important pixel information so that you can expand and contract to your hearts content without worrying. They also have Smart Guides which assist and control the movement or alignment of the copies which you create.
Image Warp will wrap a label around a can, true envelope style distortion with a bunch of built in Warp Presets.
There is an additional 3 new filters for correcting common photographic problems like removing Digital Noise or even Lens Correction these with exceedingly precise controls, as well as moving a 2d image in a 3d space with distortion options.
Some of the old functions have fallen away because as a result of adaptations implemented into the program, it is now easier to use. Take for example:
The Place command, was merely a way of introducing an external file into an image composition. Now it automatically generates a Smart Object. When opened you were only able to edit it once non-destructively by transforming or flipping it; hereafter going into destructive mode. Now it automatically makes it a smart object with an ability to be edited by just double clicking it at any time.
In addition to these cool features Photoshop can create 32 bit per channel hdr (High Dynamic Range) images by providing you with unparalleled access to the full dynamic range of a scene from the deepest shadows to the brightest highlights and everything in between.
