AN INTRODUCTORY COURSE TO PC FOR FIRST TIME USERS This is microsoft training which has been specifically designed for those delegates who have not used a computer before, giving them an introduction to PC in the format of a half day course. Because this an intermediary course, there are no prerequisites for attendance. The outline for this course is as follows: Concepts: Hardware & Software Types of Computers Main Parts of a PC Computer Performance Safety First Time Use of a Computer: Starting Up Shutting Down Mouse Handling: left click, right click, double-click, click and drag The Keyboard: Layout and correct typing methods Desktop Icons & Shortcuts  AN INTRODUCTORY COURSE TO WINDOWS FOR BASIC LEVEL USERS Specifically designed for those delegates who have used the computer before on a very basic level, this introductory course to windows has been developed as surface-level Microsoft training for the beginner wishing to start making use of the PC and Windows. Prerequisites for attending this course includes confident mouse-handling and reasonable typing skills. A minimum of a two-week practice period should be allowed between this course and the introductory course to PC. The duration of the course ranges from half to full day.
