Linux GUI Course Information
For those of you who thought our courses were too difficult, this is the perfect course
to bring you up to scratch. Intoweb is ISETT SETA accredited.
Feedback from our customers shows that many of you find it difficult to attend a five day course, no matter how thorough the course might be.
Most students just cannot stay away from work for 5 days at a time. The Essentials course is very thorough and covers all the basics in detail.
It is only after the second course, Networking, that the student learns skills that can be used to bring in income. It is also true that to
become a Linux guru will definitely take lots of time and effort from your side.
But what about the guy that doesn't need or want a guru course right now? Perhaps what he needs is a course that teaches how to get Linux web
and mail servers up and running quickly. You don't have to be an expert in Linux to get the basics up and running, and these basics are the
things that most companies and customers want to have working.
You want to see results immediately? Our new bridging courses are for you. These courses are intended for business owners, MCSE's and
technical personnel who want to get up and running in Linux quickly without spending too much time learning every last detail.
These new Linux courses are by no means just introductory courses. The outcomes include user administration, mail servers, web servers and file
server administration. Although the GUI (graphical user interface) is extensively used, the command line also gets introduced early and many
GUI tasks will include command line alternatives to get our students used to the command prompt.
We will be offering two of these bridging courses:
- GUI Linux Administration: System and Network Services Course
- GUI Linux Administration: Advanced Networking and Internet Services
The Linux Essentials Course is for those people who want more than a GUI interface and command prompt basics, who want to know it all and want
all the magic of Linux at their finger tips. This is the course where you roll up your sleeves and dig into Linux. The GUI interface course is
a great introduction to your Linux training path, the administration courses are intended to make you a Linux guru.
